      Carl's approach centres on consultation and creativity - a tailored mix of techniques and premium colour products to create something that genuinely suits you.

      • Balayage

        Balayage

        Hand-painted, freehand highlights that grow out softly with no harsh regrowth line. The go-to for natural, sun-lit dimension. In your online consultation, Carl will tell you whether balayage or a foiled technique will suit your hair and maintenance preferences better.

      • Sunshine

        Sunshine

        A backcombed ombré technique that blends your roots seamlessly into lighter ends. Ideal if you are new to colour or want a low-maintenance change, because regrowth is almost invisible. Send a photo and Carl will show you how it would look on your length.

      • Mezzo

        Mezzo

        Covers grey and adds highlights in a single, gentler process than full bleaching. A good option if you want lighter hair without compromising condition. Upload a photo of your current grey pattern and Carl will advise whether Mezzo or another approach is the better route.

      • Inversa

        Inversa

        Works with your natural colour, using micro-weaves to blend away grey without dye touching the scalp. Particularly suited to sensitive skin, allergies, or pregnancy. An Inverso version is available for men. Mention any sensitivities in the consultation form and Carl will take them into account.

      • Shadowing

        Shadowing

        Adds darker, strategically placed pieces to create the appearance of thicker, fuller hair with more movement. Uses your natural base as a highlight at the same time. If thinning or flatness is a concern, note it when you send your photos.

      • Vegetable

        Vegetable

        Plant-based, semi-permanent colour that coats the hair rather than penetrating it, so there is no chemical damage. A gentle way to try a tone before committing. Ask in your consultation whether a vegetable colour will achieve the shade you have in mind.
